I'm, in the UK and I can't figure out what time I should be here, I though it was 4:30 since UK is UTC-1 (I Think). but it Isn't , you need to state what time it is in each time zone to avoid this confusion, this is actually the third time I have done it, and I have missed it every single time !

If you're using Windows 7, add an additional clock set to Eastern time on the right corner of your taskbar. Eastern time is 5hrs behind.

Then you have to register at Ustream...

And THEN you have to log into both users....

you know... if you moved this forward to 6pm *your time* then mayb some of the viewers in other countries wont have to consider staying awake intill 3am just to watch it... understand your audience

Looks like the Ustream site has a new look. Maybe some of the backend stuff has been improved as well. I might do another live resolution test soon.

What I'll be doing for the next live show is using the webcam for the live broadcast, but also use my HD camcorder to recorder it. This way I have a much higher resolution version for YouTube, instead of using the webcam Ustream video :)

Some of you mentioned switching to Livestream instead of Ustream, but I have over 600 Ustream followers and Livestream (free version) has it's limitations: http://www.livestream.com/platform/premium_features_and_pricing

So even though Ustream has it's issues (and I'm sure Livestream does as well, especially at 720)), I'm sticking with Ustream for now.

every time i try to type in chat i get logged out and have to type in my username and pw. it happens when i hit enter or click the Send bottom. ok i have now tested it out on web-browsers Mozilla and Opera same problem.
