I’m looking to record my game play footage from my computer, and I have come to hate the screen recording programs out there. So I want to use a hardwear recorder, like a video capture device for a second computer, or a DVR. Here is where I am running into trouble with this. I’m looking for a DVR that can record video and audio from Composite, Component, and HDMI sources. Plus I’m looking for one that can do that and have a large storage drive to hold said video till I transfer it over to the PC for editing. The other issues are few HDMI input equipped devices can register 1080P60p let alone higher. So what I am asking is, are there any DVR’s that have a true HDMI input that can handle the HDMI signal from my PS3, Xbox 360, and my PC, or am I stuck with having to use adapters and what not to get to at best 1080i?
