Hi, My friends HDD crashed and he is looking for a new hdd and os. He said he doesn't like windows 7 or Vista. He wants XP. Can anyone tell me where you can find windows XP either OEM or retail? That is not used or anything. I think newegg had it a couple months ago, but now I can't find it. Please Help!!

Yeah lol I believe there's a method of extracting the product key from the registry. There's also a plethora of third party applications that can retrieve it.

LOL... Another option is to look around your neighborhood, you'd be surprised how many people toss their computer cases with WinXP serials on them...

Are you sure he doesn't want Windows 7? It's so... amazing! How can he not like it!? It runs everything XP does and basically has the same requirements.
