Hi, My friends HDD crashed and he is looking for a new hdd and os. He said he doesn't like windows 7 or Vista. He wants XP. Can anyone tell me where you can find windows XP either OEM or retail? That is not used or anything. I think newegg had it a couple months ago, but now I can't find it. Please Help!!

firts of all i have 512 RAM and windows 7 runs better than XP with them , second its not worth it to buy XP especialy now , just search for a good pirate copy

Are you sure he doesn't want Windows 7? It's so... amazing! How can he not like it!? It runs everything XP does and basically has the same requirements.

If his hard drive crashed, then why not just buy a new HDD and install XP using the existing OS license and disk he already had?
