I was thinking of buying a headset that uses a usb connection and i was wondering if i would be able to use it on both a playstation 3 and PC.

Well I know that the PS3 requires a Bluetooth enabled headset so if you bought a USB Bluetooth adapter for your PC, you could use the headset natively on your PS3 but for the PC you will need an adapter, although some motherboards do support Bluetooth so this might not be required.
