Hey, im building a spec sheet for a friend (the one that is going to give me the XFX HD5970 - YA BABY!) and i need some help with the water cooling setup for this rig... now he ain't on a budget, so go crazy!

when i say go crazy, i mean go crazy, check out whats the spec sheet as of now!

CPU: Intel Core i7-980x

MOBO: not sure yet, probebly the GIGABYTE UD9

RAM: once again not sure yet, probebly x2 Corsair Dominator GT 8-9-8-24 2000MHz, 1.65v, 6GB (total of 12GB)

GPUs: thinking about 3-way SLI with GTX480s

PSU: thinking about: SilverStone ST1500 (1500w 3-way SLI certified, even tho it would support Quad GTX480s)

SSDs: thinking about Crucial C300 SSDs, all in RAID0, they will be the main storge for this monster, no HDDs.

Im not sure about anything on this computer yet, so you are free to give out suggestions... i need help desinging a full water cooling kit for this computer, including the GPUs and the CPU and possibly the MOBO... go for the best in the best and go for the parts that would preform best - money is not an issue, he is going to spend ALOT on this new computer.
thnx you guys!
any suggestions are welcome!

the radiators i posted are

the radiators i posted are "thinner." if u look at the nozzles they stick out father, but in actuality it's sticks out just as far as the radiators you posted. because it's performance is the same, but because it's thinner if u add fans it wont add to the height so it takes up less space.

Just out of curiosity, what's

Just out of curiosity, what's the difference between the Radiators you posted and the ones I posted?

this is the way i would have

this is the way i would have it.
3xRadiator 1
3xRadiator 2
(for both radiators get the Nozzle Pair, Barb [For ID: 10mm (3/8")] in the "Add Nozzles?" section
Reservoir
(in the "Select Your Options" select 3/8" ID Barb
2xSplitters
(get 4 of these)
Pump
Flow Meter
Software/Hardware Controller
CPU Block
4xGPU Block (if your getting the UD9 (mind as well go with a 4-Way SLI setup)
Choose Tubing
Choose Coolant
You choose the fans.

lol i can criticize a bit on

lol i can criticize a bit on that setup, but im not going to. ill probably have the parts tomorrow.

I could give it a shot. I'm

I could give it a shot. I'm not an expert though. It really depends on what case he's getting too, but I'll go pretty extreme anyway.

Pump (Get two for dual loop)

Radiator (Two for dual loop. Not sure which one you should get because one says it works well with low air flow and the other for high. Not sure which would perform better.)

I'd probably want to go with something like this setup if I had the same components. Hopefully PowerUser will be able to provide some constructive criticism because I don't have any experience with water cooling.

@PowerUser
Koolance has separate power supplies for their cooling systems that you can buy. Do you need a separate psu for water cooling?

Dj Neta ive been busy lately

Dj Neta ive been busy lately we've been getting a tricky virus here so it'll be a couple of days or even a week before i can get you that cooling system. sry it's just been busy.

Yeah, I need a new case, lol.

Yeah, I need a new case, lol. No way I'd ever get something like this though unless I had the money for the best hardware. I'll probably end up going with a HAF 922 for myself.

you did some Computer Casing

you did some Computer Casing research didn't you??
i'll have him look at this post later on...

Also, if he does want to have

Also, if he does want to have a custom case made, have him check this out:

It's a rough diagram of a case that I made. It's what I would want to be built for me if I were making the most powerful system possible. Obviously it would look a lot prettier in reality, lol.

Oh, these guys are really good too, but I think they only do mods:

No Problem. I'm kind of excited because if I were going to be building an extreme system I'd probably be doing the same thing he is.

Also, if your friend wants a more custom case that he can build to his needs have him contact Epic PC Cases. It's a one man company, and he makes custom computer cases for people. He does some really great stuff. Check out his channel on youtube:

once again thnx alot, really appriciate it

ok here i go Case now it

ok here i go
Case now it should pop up to a specific page this is what u do. click on "Ascension", now on Front Panel click "Trinity", for Left Panel click on "Acrylic Panel", then on Right Panel click "Triple Quad", then for Top Panel u can have the option to leave it on "Solid" or "Acrylic Panel", for Motherboard obviously click on "XL-ATX", for Back Panel leave it as 10PCI, then leave everything else alone ecpet for Finish, for Finish click on "Mirror Black Powder Coat"

I'll get back to u about the watercooling when i have time right now im kinda busy.

well the case i found

well the case i found supports 3 120x360 radiators and 3 120x480 radiators with an all black design support for HPTC form factor and two power supplies AND 6 5.25" bays AND a whole clear side pannel for $450 exactly so i think i can whip up something that'll blow all away. just give me 2 hours.

as long as its under lets say

as long as its under lets say 400$-450$ MAX... i think its ok!
oh... and try and make quite please... he wouldn't want a leaf blower near his ears!
he has the a pretty damn stupid case right now that he bought for 350$, and its worth crap! it has like x2 92mm fans intaking and shit... its a peice of crap he bought for 350$ cuz it was nice, so im pretty sure he'll pay 400-450 for an extreme preformance case.

will a case from mountain

will a case from mountain mods be ok with u they're expensive, but they can hold the most craziest water cooling setups and motherboard sizes.

up to your

up to your desition...
anything you want that can hold all this.

one prob. what's the case?
