@mr green yes i agree they

@mr green yes i agree they should make a full tower version

That is an amazing build you

That is an amazing build you have going on there. I posted a thread a few hours ago about the last piece of my gaming rig that I am building now. I have all the parts but the GPU. I am stuck between going crossfire Sapphire HD 5770's or a single ASUS ROG MATRIX 5870 2gb. But here is my rig so far....oh and I like that you went AMD.

MD: Asus Crosshair IV Formula
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black 3.4ghz
Ram: OCZ AMD Black 8gb (4 x 2gb)DDR3
GPU: ????????
Case: Cooler Master Sniper AMD Dragon Editon
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro 1000w
ODD: Asus Cd/Dvd Burner
HD: Western Digital VelociRaptor 300gb x 2 (Raid 0)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master V10
Cooler Master 120mm Fan/Red LED...for extra air flow from the bottom of my case.
OS: Windows 7 Home Prem

If you can't tell I loved the choices you made for your rig. I have been slowly buying these parts over the past month or so. Using Rodney Reynold's reviews as my base line for most of the parts that I have gotten. Again nice picks on your rig, I hope it brings you hours of pwnage.

I wish they would make the

I wish they would make the Cm690II Adv in a full sized tower....

with the Cooler Master

with the Cooler Master Cm690II u can habve a 2x140mm radiator, a 2x120mm radiator, a 1x140mm radiator, and a 1x120mm radiator so it has watercooling all over it.

maybe, but ive seen bigger

maybe, but ive seen bigger cases that have more features
ur right though its price is extremely good

@torn_apart71 1.Two Reasons:

@torn_apart71
1.Two Reasons:
This is the cheapest psu that comes with 6x6+2 PCIE Connectors
Why does it need to be modular?
2.1066 RAM is not. really this RAM has the cablity of going higher on the same voltage (i personally know it can go to 1600 without tweaking voltage)

Why no modular PSU? 1066 RAM?

Why no modular PSU? 1066 RAM? I'd get some faster RAM to compliment that GPU, CPU and SSD, thats just me though. Is a nice setup though :)

better case? ha. the Cooler

better case? ha. the Cooler Master Cm690II Adv. is the best case out there. it is the best case for watercooling and if filled all the way the best case for air cooling and for the price ha u must be mistaken.

wow very impressive build but

wow very impressive build but i personally would get a better case with all those high grade components

It comes with one already in

It comes with one already in one of the hard drive slots, but they give you mounts to put another one in as well. Plus there's the top of the case where you can put a SATA II hard drive or ssd on.

In total, you can have 3 SSD's with the CM 690 II Adv without having to buy anything extra.

----------- Now my i7 930 is 4.05Ghz and both 460's at 840/2175! ----------- http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1519008

i tink its just one... i

i tink its just one... i might be wrong

the ssd mount on the cooler

the ssd mount on the cooler master cm690ii advance support 2 2.5 inch ssds like it advertises or just one?

thnx :)

thnx :)

i would do the best i can.

i would do the best i can.

@PowerUser, i need some help

@PowerUser,
i need some help with water cooling, posted a qustion in the "Ask Rodney" fourm, here's the link: http://www.rodneyreynolds.com/forum/posts/2010/06/30/custom-water-cooling-help
would appriciate your help and suggestions.

@haxor3k and how exactly can

@haxor3k
and how exactly can i fit a quad 120 mil rad in that case? 120mm just for the video card and chipset is good enough.

I love the water cooling

I love the water cooling accessories from Koolance except the main parts (Radiators, Full units these don't perform well). You were better off with Thermochill, maybe a quad 140/120 rad instead of many.

Maybe...there's really not

Maybe...there's really not that much to a waterblock though, is there? I would really love to get someone to make a custom case for me if I ever had the money to make a really extreme computer.

AMD Phenom II X4 940 @3.7Ghz | Cooler Master V6 GT | Foxconn A7DA-S 790GX | 4GB OCZ DDR2 @800mhz | 2x Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 6850s in CrossfireX | 2x 500GB WD Caviar Black in RAID 0 (1TB) | 320GB Hitachi Deskstar | LG Bluray Drive | HP DVD Writer | Ultra LSP 650 | NZXT Tempest Evo | Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

on their site it says they

on their site it says they make custom parts, components, and cases so does that mean they can make a custom waterblock?

I would do a dual loop, but

I would do a dual loop, but if I were you I'd probably try to get a dual loop with all internal radiators.

If you have the money you could always get a custom case so that you could fit all the radiators you would want into your case. Check out Epic PC Cases on youtube.

i suggest a single loop, its

i suggest a single loop, its cheaper right.
And then you can use it as you wish, and if you dont like your temps you could always go for the dual loop later on

--------------------------------

This is the best way to find the answers to all your questions

I need your guy's

I need your guy's opinion.
Should I do a single loop or dual loop?
In my single loop this is the order it's going to go Reservoir>Pump>CPU Block>GPU Block>RAM>Chipset>To All Four Radiators>Reservoir
In my dual loop this is the order it's going to go
1st loop:
Reservoir>Pump>CPU Waterblock>RAM>To All Four Radiators>Reservoir
2nd Loop:
Reservoir>Pump>GPU Waterblock>Chipset>To External 3x120mm Radiator>Reservoir

In the second loop I'm going to mount this radiator to the back of the rear 120mm fan grill on the case. how? im going to put a fan on the top of the radiator and stick it onto the grill like the one in the picture.
http://www.maximumpc.com/files/u90693/Digital_Storm_Guts_full.jpg
i've already calculated the measurements so a 3x120 radiator can fit if it's hanging. im afraid of that 1 it won't look cool and itll just look bulky and second if it's really worth it. any opinions?

@AlexanderMarks28 Where do

@AlexanderMarks28

Where do the ODD's go in that case? lol

Ok, nevermind I found it, but in some of the later photos they put a fan there instead for some reason.

@torn_apart71 WOW do u ever

@torn_apart71
WOW do u ever read before posting
@AlexanderMarks28
i know every much about that case, but the reason why i choose the CM690 is because it's smaller. That case is that u listed is HUGE. I don't think i have a place in my house to store that case plus $300 for a AMD system, not going to happen.

lol i love when people dont

lol i love when people dont read and just randomly post! i agree amd/ati total bang for the buck. Yeah his store is called four corners, in boise idaho, no im not a stalker just have very good memory. Also i cannot wait to see what kind of overclocking results u get. it will be crazyily magnificant. also instead of cm 690 II adv why not like lets say something ridiculously extreme like this?

http://www.dangerden.com/store/dd-double-wide-tower-21-black-series-edition.html

hahah lol thats overkill.

He heard rumors that intel was evil and decided to go with AMD.

Nice rig but why bother with

Nice rig but why bother with AMD Phenom II x6 1090T when can go Core i7 930 for less? Intel will always dominate AMD, not to say there's anything wrong with AMD.

nope everything im buying

nope everything im buying with my own money, the only discounts im getting is from Asus and rebates

I'm guessing you're getting

I'm guessing you're getting discounts from your sponsors and/or manufacturers?
