The Sennheiser PC 360 are easily the best. Im using the atm alongside a Asus Xonar Essence STX soundcard and the quality im getting in games and music in unparalelled. Its as if i am there.
These were an upgrade from the Sennheiser 55's which i used to think were godly, but the difference is Incredible

I'd look into Tritton, I have the Ax pro, pretty nice and affordable. They should have some newer snazzier headsets now, this one is about a year old.
