Hello Rodney, first let me say that what you are doing is awesome and plz keep it up (p.s. - i would like to see an How-To section videos on youtube next to the reviews and such.
OK so my question is simply this sentence:
Corsair H50 vs. CoolIT ECO A.L.C vs. Venomous-X vs. NH-U12P SE2
In terms of real-world-performance / build quality / mount system / quietness with default fans and with other fans such as NF-P12,SCYTHE GENTLE TYPHOON 1850RPM, SCYTHE SLIP STREAM 1200RPM , Cooler Master R4.
==================================================================
If we wanna go deeper here it goes, My main goal is this:
#1 - I wanna OC my Q6600 G0 to at least 3.6GHz that will be 100% 24/7 stable at idle & full load.
#2 - Make the overclocked CPU to be very cool and never get near to 72 Celsius at full load (witch is the top recommended temps for my CPU - (http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SLACR).
#3 - I need it to be very quiet (dosent have to be monster monster quiet - but very quiet so i can power my pc for 24/7 and i will not hear it and it will not disturb me while im sleeping (2.5-3.0 meter) so i can download/encode and more overnight & normal working with the PC without headphones (0.5-1.0 meter). the fans have to be with not high pitch sound frequency as well to be nice and not disturb.
what do you thinks? tnx!

Tigerdirect is good.
Tigerdirect is good.
Iv found that in the R4 the
Iv found that in the R4 the exact specs are:
1800RPM @ 19db = 69CFM
2000EPM @ 23db = 90CFM
I cant shop at newegg cause its just for us residents (witch im not).
im buying abroad so i wanted to know if www.linkecomputer.com & www.tigerdirect.com are a trusted once to buy from abroad and if u can recommend others.
**if u have more answers / recommendations about my first message it will be nice
I know tigerdirect and newegg
I know tigerdirect and newegg are trustworthy sellers. Their prices are usually the same, if not by a couple bucks. I'm not sure why you can't find the 90cfm/19dBA version of the R4's. I'm on a Droid right now so I can't get you the link. Anyway, 23bBA isn't that loud anyway. You'll be able to hear it but it won't be the loudest thing in your computer.
----------- Now my i7 930 is 4.05Ghz and both 460's at 840/2175! ----------- http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1519008
And it will answers all my
And it will answers all my goals perfectly? what about the fans? do whats the best recomended from those:
NF-P12,SCYTHE GENTLE TYPHOON 1850RPM, SCYTHE SLIP STREAM 1200RPM , Cooler Master R4 (the 90CFM at 23db version)
*Does www.linkecomputer.com & www.tigerdirect.com are a trusted places to buy stuff from? (especially if u buy it abroad in my situation)

That's unfortunate, lol. I don't know why it would do that.
it's Celcius
it's Celcius
Lol, you don't know if he's
Lol, you don't know if he's talking Celcius. I mean that's what I assumed originally, but if he's talking Fahrenheit then that's an excellent temperature. 79F is only 26C.

He is talking about Celsius
He is talking about Celsius offcourse.
Wait, when you say 79
Wait, when you say 79 degrees...is that Fahrenheit or Celsius?
well, if you have space
well, if you have space limitation than go for a LCLC solution, the H50 is a fine cooler, i'm not that upset about the 79 degrees, it is well built and all. but i'm sure the CoolIT ALC is an good product as well, as i see it they all have good build quality, the coolit does seems to have a better mounting system, depends on what you want
Case: Antec 902; CPU: Intel Core i7 860 @ 3.64Ghz; Motherboard: Asus Maximus III Formula; Video card: 2X EVGA GTX480 SC; RAM: Patriot Sector 5 2X2X2GB; CPU Cooling: Corsair H50; Power Supply: Corsair HX850; Hard-drive: OCZ vertex 120GB boot drive, Seagate 1TB Barracuda, Seagate 500GB Barracuda, Hitachi 1TB
I got an R4 from newegg.
I got an R4 from newegg. They're pretty dependable. I'm assuming that Tiger Direct knows what they're talking about as well.
theaudir8fan i have a 965P-S3
theaudir8fan i have a 965P-S3 mb with high OCZ ram - i cant get NH-D14. also i dont have a good airflow and i need a very good fans that pushes high cfm like those R4 but all iv find is Misinformation between the official site and the sites the sales those fans (2000RPM / 19b /90CFM) about the CFM nfo.
any suggestions?
i have the antec 902 with 2
i have the antec 902 with 2 120s infront, yes i'm using both as exhaust but that would only increase the temp slightly, plus i do have artic silver 5, i know the reviews online with gets way lower temps then i do, but this is what i got, with the core overclocked to 3.64ghz and under prime 95, the readings are from realtemp, so there could be an error in that, but this is what i got
Are you sure you're intaking
Are you sure you're intaking cool air into the radiator? Also, maybe your thermal paste isn't the best or needs some reapplication? In all of the reviews I've seen, I've never seen the H50 perform that terribly. It might be your case too if you don't have proper air flow.
i have the corsair H50
i have the corsair H50 running on a i7-860 right now, and to be honest it is not as good as i had hoped for, i still get to 79 degrees with it, and i'm doing the push pull configuration. i live in canada so my pricing is probably different then yours, but for the same amount money as the H50, i get the NH-D14 instead.
And
And this:
http://www.linkecomputer.com/products/1001519/R4-L2R-20CG/COOLERMASTER/

They're not the same fans.
They're not the same fans. Don't worry, lol. The one on tiger direct does do 90cfm. They make fans that do 69cfm that look very very similar. That's why I can't find a blue one. The only blue ones I can find do 69cfm.
Man its not them - according
Man its not them - according to Cooler Master site:
http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?category_id=3554&product_id=6037
this model: R4-L2R-20CR-GP (Red LED SickleFlow 120) have just 69.69 CFM and not 90CFM as tigerdirect says, what is that?

I think they have them in blue too, but I can't find one with blue LED's that has the same performance for some reason.
