I adore different music since my birth. When I was at school, I played in school band. It was my favourite past time. But then the circumstances had changed and I had to give up my hobby. Now, the only thing for me to do is to visit musiikkikaupat, admire new collections and read about achievements in world's music.

Mainly metal for me. Death, Thrash, Doom, Power, Folk, Black... I pretty much like some of everything. I also like Goth, Punk, some Darkwave, Industrial, Classic rock etc...

I also like random artists that don't fit into the genres above. These include Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Gogol Bordello, Serart, Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble Of Shadows, April March, REM, Barenaked Ladies and many more (I could list bands for ages and still forget some.)

Picking a favourite band is hard.... The first band I properly got into was The Offspring, but these days I'd probably say that Cradle Of Filth take the top spot, since I never get tired of listening to their stuff and the lyrics are just amazing.

Recently I have pretty much exclusively been listening to The Sisters Of Mercy; I've been revisiting Vision Thing and it hasn't come out of the stereo once in the last fortnight.

I'd say overall my tastes are quite varied, but I do tend to go for stuff other people think a little strange or extreme. I like different types of music for different reasons. I like music with depth to it, something that invokes emotion or makes you think somehow. I cannot abide pop music (although I find some j-pop amusing). I don't like country either, and I am not a big fan of most folk music. I like some Rap and Hip Hop but only very occasionally and when it's blended with other styles and genres.

Anything I haven't mentioned I have either forgotten, or am indifferent towards.

ADDENDUM: I hate dance and trance too.

Favorit style would probebly be 90's techno\trance - songs like Zombie Nation (kernkraft 400), Children (Robert Miles), Somthing (Lasgo), Better Off Alone (Alice Deejay), you know, old retro style music form the time that i was really young!
kinnda like Alternative rock and some Metal latley too.

Favorit band Probebly LinkinPark\Red Hot Chilli Peppers, ummm yah defenetly... favorit DJ - Tiesto.

Favorit Song ummm don't really know, the song i "respect" the most would probebly Zombie Nation cuz its soooo old and people still dance to it and people still love hearing it. maybe even the old X-Files theme song... love it aswell!
