Which producer should I buy from? XFX has the best warranty, buy HIS comes with free DiRT 2, and by judging from the demo I'll be playing it a lot (if it's free). So the 2 year warranty + DiRT 2 or Double Lifetime Waranty? Post your thoughts.

My board can let me do
My board can let me do quad-crossfire..... so yeah. 2 5770's just fits right in right now. I was supposed to get it today..... but I guess it'll be on my doorstep tomorrow.
I don't need everything maxed
I don't need everything maxed either, but I was looking at doing crossfire with 5770s and it simply does not make sense when the 5850 is the same price and performance [actually cheaper in my case by 50 bucks]. That would still leave me the option to get a second 5850 later on [board only capable of two physical cards in crossfire.]
I just purchased a 1000w
I just purchased a 1000w power supply for $99, one of the best deals on NewEgg I've seen. So power won't be an issue for me... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182188&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL122609&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL122609-_-PowerSupplies-_-LC4A-_-17182188
And personally, I don't need everything maxed out. If I can, great, if not, oh well. I've been gaming on low settings for years and I've been fine with it. Really, I just needed a future-proof budget card. My motherboard doesn't have onboard video so I needed something now so I could just plug a screen into it. That's why I went with the 5770.
I was considering the 5770
I was considering the 5770 until I saw a benchmark that placed it between the 4850 and 4870 performance wise as well as two of them in crossfire performed like a 5850 which would cost the same as two 5770s but use less power.
I was going to buy a 5770
I was going to buy a 5770 too. But, I have second thoughts when I heard that the prices of the 5850 is dropping when the new GTX 300 comes out. Don't know when will that be. I'm a hardcore gamer and I love to maxed everything when I am playing games.
P.S : I'm low on cash too so a budget card is what I need.
i am getting one to, actually
i am getting one to, actually im getting the cheapest one, from sapphire, 2 year warranty, comes with a free 4gb usb stick
It should be here on
It should be here on Wednesday. I still need to get some memory to even get the system running. I don't own GTA 4 or Crysis.
Denied.
So Green, how's the 5770
So Green, how's the 5770 performing? Have you maxed everything out on some of the most demanding games like Crysis or GTA 4?
I got the XFX 5770.
I got the XFX 5770.
I have heard some bad things
I have heard some bad things about XFX card since they joined the red team. My vote would be for HIS, they put out some of the coolest (temperature wise) and quietest ATi cards on the market. They are like the eVGA of nVIDIA minus the warranty.
well think about it like
well think about it like this, if your the people that barley ever upgrade their system, go with xfx. but if your a serious gamer that likes playing the latest games on max setting go with the his, because free game, sometimes tool kit, and 2 year warranty which your most likely to purchase another card before that is over
I would personally get the
I would personally get the XFX because of the warranty and also because I've found that XFX tends to push some of the clock speeds a little higher than anyone else does. If you really really want Dirt 2 though, then go with that, because the performance increase between the two probably isn't all that significant.
One thing to keep in mind though is that, with the Double Lifetime Warranty, you can always sell the XFX card on ebay along with the warranty, which would probably provide more incentive for buyers to purchase it, and you'd probably get a little bit more money out of it. Only reason you would ever sell it though is if you were upgrading, but just something to keep in mind.

Alright, thanks.
Alright, thanks.
It seems that the XFX 5770
It seems that the XFX 5770 ships with Battle Forge instead of Dirt 2. If thats the case go with the HIS. If the card doesn't fail within the 2 year warranty it's most likely going to last until your next upgrade.
I can't find any place
I can't find any place selling a XFX 5770 with DiRT2. The XFX website says nothing about DiRT2
The XFX most likely comes
The XFX most likely comes with Dirt 2. To the best of my knowledge AMD supplied the game so I doubt XFX would exclude a bonus for no reason.
