hi rodney, my computer didn't

hi rodney, my computer didn't shut down properly and the registry became corrupted. windows32/config/system. i've formatted my computer to try and fix the problem, and now i cant install windows 7 or any other os, is there a way to put my motherboard back to it defaults settings.

My rig has a E5200 @ 1066fsb 2.93ghz cpu, HIS HD 4850 1gb card, 3gb 667mhz ram ( yep pretty slow :P)Cooler master Hyper TX 2 cpu cooler, ASUS P5kPL/1600 motherboard , 320GB Western Digital Caviar blue ( with 8mb cache, damn that salesmen, I thought that HD model had a min 16mb cache but no after I bought it I saw it said 8mb, quick question how much performance loss do I have with 8mb cache instead of 16mb, I'm guessing about 10%).Oh and a no brand chinese made on a boat 450W PSU :P damn miracle it hasn't failed yet.

And that's my rig,the CPU might be a bit slow but I manage :D

its a total overkill system for my purposes...
