Are you getting an Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service Has Stopped Working error? Well, it probably has to do with DRM (Digital Rights Management). The below is a solution to the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service Has Stopped Working issue.

- Control panel > Folder Option > View and select "Show Hidden Files, Folders and drives" and click Apply
- Next, Uncheck the box, "Hide protected operating system files" and click Apply
- Now, Go to this directory: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\DRM
- Then, Soft delete all the files in the folder so they are removed but go into the Recycle Bin
- Finally, enable sharing in Windows Media player
