This was passed along to me from ATI to solve a recent CCC issue I had. The CCC won't load, but this did resolve the issue.
"Suggested steps for clean uninstall of CCC:
1. Check registry location to be empty. (START > RUN > and type regedit or reget32)
a. HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/ATI/ACE
b. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/ATI/ACE
2. Check (Program Files folder )/ATI Technologies/ATI.ACE to be empty
3. Check (Windows folder)/Assembly to see if there's any files with Public Key Token of "90ba9c70f846762e". Sort by Public key token to get a easier view. All these should be uninstalled by right click and uninstall.
4. Check (Document and Settings)/(User)/AppData/Local/ATI/ACE to be empty
5. Make sure you have the correct version of Dot net installed. This one works for sure. The compact one downloaded from MS don't work.

6. Reinstall CCC.
Note: - Sometimes even doing this won't work on some system. In that case, remove and re-install .Net 2.0 after step 4 above." ~www.ATI.com

Thanks very much. However, that last bit about the Dot net (item #5) isnt clear at all. Was that supposed to be a web link you listed? If so, it didnt show up as such. I went to the MS site, and they show Microsoft .NET Framework 4 as being the most current version. Sounds very different from the one you mentioned which was working well. Can you clarify?
Thanks for your response. I
Thanks for your response. I have DotNet 3.5 SP1 currently installed. Does this potentially represent a problem and, if so, should then I uninstall DotNet 3.5 (if possible?)and then install the correct DotNet 2.0 version referenced above? If I do this, do I lose any functionality or create compatibility problems with other software that has been recently updated?
THANKS!
